The Marina itself is easily located by road lying beside the A45 between Daventry and Rugby.
It is only 20 minutes from junction 16 on the M1, under an hour from Birmingham, and two hours from London. It was originally developed at the turn of the 19th century as the waterways depot at the northern end of what was then called the Grand Junction Canal where it joined up with the Oxford Canal.
The walk to the tram was really lovely and the location itself was a great compromise between being close enough to the town for ease but far enough away so that it was a nice quiet neighbourhood!
Also meant that you always got a seat on the tram getting on before the big touristy parts!
And the place it self was beautiful, really comfy bed, a cosy living room with a view to die for and even a log fire and bbq in the garden.
The property is 3.9 km from Amsterdam RAI and 4.4 km from Rijksmuseum.
Martine gave us a friendly welcome briefing and explained how everything works. This boat includes 1 bedroom, a living room and a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchenette with a dining area, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. It's outside the old center yet easily accessible by bus and rail, and the neighborhood itself is great.
Artis Zoo is 4 km from the boat, while Basilica of St. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 21 km from Sailor Suite Coaster Mado. Being a little bit outside of the center gave me an opportunity to explore some cool areas that I would have not have visited otherwise.
We took a canal tour and saw many bigger, more modern, fancier houseboats, but none as cool as this one.
We had a lovely time playing cards at the lounge table while watching the canal tours go by through the open windows.
